Where Memories Get Sweeter With Time
Get ready for a beach vacation that will be talked about for years to come at The After Glow (formerly known as Sunset Hideaway). In addition to the family friendly south Nags Head locale, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to fishing, this adorable four bedroom (all masters) cottage boasts a private pool, hot tub, and ocean views from the kitchen and top-level deck. Located at the end of the road, almost literally, you'll enjoy a fenced-in yard that borders an undeveloped and protected wildlife area that offers a nice sunset view and greater privacy. 

Interior Walkthrough
The kitchen has windows galore for a light, bright space and has an ocean view from the windows over the sink! The slate stainless steel appliances update this space nicely. In addition to the ocean views, the great room offers a sunset view and glimpse of the sound to the west. Two bedrooms have wet bars in addition to the en suite full baths, and regardless of which room you choose, you won't have to share a bathroom with family members down the hall! The rec room has a full-size pool table and a wet bar with a mini-fridge making snacks and drinks from here or the pool a snap.

Exploring the Surrounding Area
The gated pool is on the south side, along with a hot tub for relaxing. It's an short walk over to the beach access. You have easy access to the Nags Head sidewalks for biking, jogging or just getting to the beach. Bodie Island Lighthouse will shine its light on you at night, and you are minutes away from everything! Oregon Inlet is very close for deep sea fishing or checking out the day's catch or for some gear. Or take an easy drive for a couple of lighthouses…Hatteras and Bodie Island…you could do two in one day! Two piers are close by too: Outer Banks Pier and Jeanette's Pier are convenient to take the kids fishing or just to grab a bite. Outlet shopping, local shopping, groceries and restaurants are all just a few minutes away.

Additional amenity details: 
Private Pools are open starting the first weekend in May through the second weekend in October. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Hot tubs are available year-round. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use.


All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.
