The heart of the house is its porches. On the oceanside back porch, sip coffee at sunrise, unwind in the hot tub as you listen to the relaxing sound of the waves, or watch the night sky fill with stars. Out front, the elevated porch is the perfect spot for sunsets with plenty of room for a family cornhole tournament or just enjoying the sun. And don't miss the screened-in porch, a cozy place for swapping pirate tales and lighthouse legends, gathering for casual outdoor meals, or just catching up with family and friends.
 
Inside, the well-stocked kitchen makes family meals easy, and the living spaces are designed for comfort after long days in the sun. With business level wi-fi and Smart TVs throughout the home, evenings can be as lively or as laid-back as you'd like.  Cleanliness is also a top priority.  Beyond standard cleaning measures, all mattresses are fully encased, and every bedspread is washed between each stay.
 
At milepost 21.5, you're just minutes from shopping, restaurants, fishing piers, Oregon Inlet Marina and Bodie Island Lighthouse, with Hatteras Lighthouse and historic Roanoke Island an easy drive away. Whether you're fishing, kayaking, exploring, or simply spending the day on the sand, The Porch Life puts you close to it all while keeping you far from the crowds.

All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.
