A wide variety of wildlife can seen from the dock, including the occasional nutria, fresh water turtle and an expansive variety of shorebirds. The dock also enables you to launch a kayak, paddle board, or inflatable raft. The stairs off the dock leading into the water is perfect for playing in the sound away from the shore. At night, you can watch the sunset off the built in bench before retiring.

Duck is very close; a nice walk if you're a walker, a few minutes of driving in if you're not. You can also take the bike path and head to the Duck Boardwalk where you visit all the great shops and restaurants. Duck Donuts anyone?
