Ground Level - Your Private Coastal Oasis
From the moment you arrive, you'll feel the magic! With parking for up to eight vehicles and elevator access to all floors, settling in is effortless. Step outside and your backyard paradise unfolds: a sparkling pool, kiddie pool, and a relaxing 7-person hot tub set the stage for fun and leisure. Surround sound around the pool sets the perfect mood for sunny afternoons or evening gatherings.  Fire up the grill for the day's fresh catch, gather around the picnic table for alfresco dining as the sky turns cotton-candy pink at sunset, and enjoy family games in the spacious yard. An outdoor shower and fish-cleaning station make life by the water simple, and a paved walkway just beyond the dune leads straight to the vast sands of Rodanthe Beach.

Second Level - A Playground by the Sea
Laughter fills the air on the second floor, where the game room is a wonderland of entertainment, featuring a pool table, air hockey, arcade favorites, smart TVs, and music that keep the energy alive. A cozy lounge area provides a spot to chill between rounds, and the kitchenette makes it easy to grab snacks and drinks before heading outside to enjoy  the pool. An enchanting underwater-themed bunk room sleeps five, featuring one full and three single beds, and a private en-suite with a jetted tub/shower, bringing the magic of the ocean indoors. A convenient half bath is located on this level.

Third Level - Serene Coastal Retreats
Upstairs, the pace slows and the views stretch farther. Four private en-suites welcome you into restful retreats: three king En-suite bedrooms  designed for blissful nights, and a charming bedroom with two twin beds and a private bath is  perfect for younger travelers or friends. Each space offers direct access to the wraparound decks, where sea breezes and starlit skies accompany morning coffee, and where the day comes to an end. Smart TVs with Roku in every room make it easy to cozy up for a movie night, while a sunny workspace and convenient washer/dryer bring thoughtful touches to extended stays.

Fourth Level - The Soul of the Home
The top floor is where the soul of Whale Kept Secret truly shines. The great room, bathed in golden light from walls of windows, frames breathtaking ocean views and tranquil soundside sunsets, inviting you to soak in every moment. Cozy seating, a gas fireplace, and a large Smart TV make it perfect for family gatherings, while the chef-ready kitchen is equipped for creating memorable coastal feasts. The spacious dining area provides ample space for everyone to share meals, laughter, and stories. Step out onto the expansive top-level deck and breathe in the salt airâ" watch the waves roll in, or relax as the ocean breeze carries the day away. The primary king suite on this level is its own sanctuary, featuring dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and private deck access for those quiet moments when it feels like the whole island is yours.

Pool Heat is an additional $600 per week  

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds, and the beds will be made, except for seep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds, for which sheets are provided.  This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking:  During the booking process, you will be asked to enter a credit card number; however, no charges will be made to this card.  After booking, you will receive an email to sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment electronically. You will have 3 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance deposit to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.
