You may experience unpleasant environmental factors such as noise, vibrations, and even light pollution during your stay during hours of permitted construction which are outlined as 8:00AM - 6:00PM, Monday through Saturday. We deeply regret the inconvenience but appreciate your kind understanding that these factors are not under the control of the homeowners or our management company.
"Good Ole Waves" is by far the most darling cottage on Carolina Beach. Built in the 1930s, this charming retreat features classic cedar siding, timeless character, and all the comforts of home. From the cozy interior to the inviting front porch, screened-in side porch, and sunny back deck, this cottage offers everything you need for a memorable and heartwarming stay.
Step inside to a quaint living area adorned with hearty wood floors and whitewashed walls, exuding coastal cottage antique charm. As you make your way toward the fully equipped kitchen, you'll pass two guest bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a full bed, both offering cozy accommodations. Additional sleeping options include a twin daybed and a pull-out sofa in the living room, comfortably sleeping two more guests. The hallway provides access to the main bathroom, which features a beautifully tiled stand-up shower, perfect for refreshing after a day at the beach. The kitchen includes all the essentials for preparing meals and even boasts a large utility sinkideal for hosting dinner with friends or family. Once the meal is ready, gather around the oversized dining table for a delicious feast and some quality time together.
Upstairs, the spacious primary bedroom awaits with a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom. Large windows offer lovely ocean views, and the charming clawfoot tub in the primary bathroom invites you to enjoy a long, relaxing soak after a day of sun and sand.
Downstairs on the ground level, you'll find the laundry area and another full bathroomsuper convenient for rinsing off after the beach or managing vacation laundry. The closest beach access is just across the street at Oyster Shell Public Access, making it easy to come and go from the shoreline as you please.
During your stay, be sure to catch a spectacular sunrise, grab legendary donuts from Britt's, and keep an eye out for playful dolphins along the surf. On Thursday nights, enjoy fireworks on the beach, or stroll through the Farmer's Market at the Lake. Pleasure Island has something for everyonerain or shine! Prohibited: Smoking, RV's, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund. All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
