An oceanfront cottage as cozy as a duck's down feathers, “Duck Down” is a perfect spot for families that want to bond and enjoy easy oceanfront access to the beach. This 5 bedroom, 3 bath house includes a hot tub and dog-friendly fenced yard (including a shaded area under the house). Amazing ocean views await you from the great room and decking. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. A huge dining table has room for everyone, big or small, all at the table together for meals! There are actually two walkways all the way to the spacious dune top deck and steps to the beach, one for each level. “Duck Downs” is furnished with tasteful coastal décor and appointments, pleasing to the eye for discriminating taste without losing the charm of a traditional Duck beach cottage. Look forward to long, lazy beach days, evening relaxing in the hot tub, or playing with the kids on the beach or in the yard (with Fido, of course!). The kids will love the loft area just for them, accessed with a ladder, with an LCD TV for games and movies.
Located in Bayberry Bluffs, in the heart of downtown Duck, you are within walking distance to everything! Imagine leisurely strolls down the waterfront boardwalk, yoga on the green, walking to restaurants and all the local hangouts, shopping, and sightseeing…it is all conveniently yours at “Duck Downs”.
Top-Level: Great Room with 60" TV, Deck with access to Dunetop Deck, Kitchen, Dining Table seats 12, Loft (accessible by ladder) with Seating and TV, King Bedroom with TV, shares access to Hall Full Bathroom.
Mid-Level: King Bedroom with TV and Covered Deck Access; Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and TV; Bedroom with 2 Bunk Beds and TV; King Bedroom with TV and Covered Deck Access; 2 Hall Full Bathrooms, Laundry Room with Washer and Dryer, Hot Tub located on Deck.
Ground-Level: Covered Parking and Entrance, Dog Pen, Charcoal Grill.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
