You can go and enjoy the shops and dining close to Southport nestled in where the Cape Fear River, Intercoastal waterway, and the Ocean meet. The views are breathtaking. From there you can take a Ferry either to beautiful Bald Head Island for a day trip or a Ferry to Ft. Fisher and visit the aquarium. The North Carolina Battleship is a favorite destination in nearby downtown Wilmington and Myrtle Beach is just South for even more to do.
