DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Sail Away! This newly renovated, handicap friendly three-bedroom, two and-a-half-bath vacation escape is just a short walk from the serene Youpon and Oak Island beaches. A short 3 minute stroll will have your toes in the sand at the public beach access. Sail Away is is equipped with a convenient ramp entrance and a first-floor handicap friendly master bedroom that includes a large walk shower with a ramp to accommodate wheelchairs. Moving to the second level, the first upstairs bedroom offers a queen bed with en suite bathroom and the third bedroom with two twin beds and a half bath shared with the upstairs hallway.
As you enter the home you are greeted by gorgeous and bright natural light vaulted ceilings with an open concept kitchen, living and dining area. There is a wraparound sundeck with patio chairs and rockers for hanging out and viewing the island surroundings. There is plenty of comfy seating for everyone to enjoy visiting and relaxing. A great kitchen and bar area for cooking up your favorite seafood dinner with some local fresh catches. Wake up and brew a cup of coffee or tea as you read the morning news with the sounds of island wildlife in the background. Four smart TVs are also included for your entertainment. A nice spacious shady yard to enjoy grilling out and relaxing after a long day by the beach. Outdoor amenities such as an enclosed outdoor shower with hot/cold water, beach gear included such as beach toys, chairs, and beach umbrella for your use.
With new renovations to this beach cottage, it is sure to be a delightful haven for your next vacation. The Oak Island area offers some of the best fishing and sunbathing on the East Coast. Enjoy a stroll down the quiet sandy beaches and entrench yourself in the natural beauty of Yaupon and Oak Island beaches at Sail Away!
Please Note: Linens are included with your reservation and contain the following: flat and fitted bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, Dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.
* Reservations occurring between 1/1/2022-6/3/2022 and 8/13/2022-12/31/2022 require a 3 night minimum stay
* Reservations occurring between 6/4/2022-8/12/2022 require a 7 night minimum stay and occur from Saturday to Saturday only
