Close Enough Duplex, located in the beautiful Sandcastles by the Sea community, is an oceanside, reverse floor plan home. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, ocean view, 2 floors of covered decks, hot tub, and so much more, Close Enough Duplex has been designed to give you and your family your best vacation yet!
Ground level: Close Enough Duplex is tucked away from the busier streets of the island, located within Sandcastles by the Sea. This beach duplex has covered parking for around 2 to 4 vehicles, as well as a gravel driveway for parking 2-3 more vehicles in addition to the covered parking the car port area provides. As soon as you arrive, you can smell the salty air as it blows through your hair. If you listen closely you will be able to hear the waves crash in the distance. The beach access is conveniently located directly behind Close Enough Duplex, down a gravel path to the left of the oceanfront Sandcastle Duplexes. Under the car port area, you will also find the outside shower, the perfect place to rinse off the sand from your feet and beach items before heading inside after a long day in the sun.
First level: To enter the house, you must climb the stairs from the ground level to the front door. The first level contains 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full-sized washer and dryer set, and access to 2 decks.
Master Bedroom: The first bedroom, the master, is the first room on the left upon entering the home. This room contains a luxurious king-sized bed, TV with cable, large closet, and a sliding glass door that allows not only rays of sunshine to enter, but also access to both the deck, the hot tub, and the beach. This portion of the deck is covered, which makes it the perfect shady retreat after a long day in the sun. There is an attached bathroom, which harbors a stand-up shower.
Bedroom Two: The second bedroom is perfect for the smaller vacationers, with two twin beds. This room is bright with a lovely airy feel due to the sliding glass doors, which provide deck access. There is no attached bathroom to this room, so the little ones may share with the lucky habitants of the master suite, or use the one right down the hall.
Third Bedroom: The last bedroom on this level, with a lovely nautical theme, harbors a queen-sized bed, closet, director style chair, and sliding glass doors that lead to one of the covered decks. The bathroom for this bedroom is just down the hall, which is shared with the guests of the second bedroom.
Second level: The second level contains the kitchen, dining area, living room, the fourth bedroom, and the third bathroom. There are also two more decks on this level.
Kitchen: Live like a local and cook your meals in this gorgeous kitchen! Fully equipped with all white appliances, an ornate tiled backsplash behind the sink, and counter space provided by the bar area, whipping up your favorite dishes will be a breeze.
Living Room: This area features a lighthearted nautical theme with colorful artwork and knickknacks sprinkled throughout the space. With a couch and two chairs, there is plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable while winding down with a movie on the large flat screen TV after a long day on the beach or out on the boat! There are sliding glass doors in between the living room and dining area to allow deck access.
Dining Area: Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, with room to seat up to 8 people at the table, and an additional 3 at the bar. Utilize the large dining table by serving your meals family-style, or by playing a board game after dinner is finished.
Bedroom Four: The fourth and final bedroom is located on the second level. This room is bright and cheerful due to the sunshine the sliding glass doors allow in. If you're feeling like taking a nap, simply close the blinds and you'll have the perfect spot to relax after a long day in the sun. This room has a queen-sized bed and gives access to one of the covered decks. The bathroom is connected to this room, and holds a stand-up shower.
Your check-in location is our Surf City office, located at 518 Roland Ave. Surf City, 28445. Linens are provided. Turn Down Service is provided with stays 7 days or longer. Pets are permitted in this property with a $200.00(plus tax)pet fee per pet, per week. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Maximum occupancy is 8 at any time. Your check-in time begins at 4:00 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
