Kitchen (first level): When you enter your vacation home-away-from home, you'll walk into the well-designed and efficient kitchen. You'll find its layout convenient to the living and dining areas to your right, with a nice stepped bar that's handy for serving or for extra seating. Easy-care vinyl flooring and all the standard appliances, plus a microwave, two-slice toaster large enough to handle the fattest bagels, coffeemaker, and double stainless sink offer everything you need for meal preparation. There's also a roomy pantry and broom closet. Track lighting over the bar lets you control the ambience, and the rack of wine glasses at the end of the bar suggests additional atmosphere adjustment possibilities. A lovely framed print of five shells over the cabinets adds a nice decorative touch.

Dining area (first level): The glass-topped bamboo dining table has four matching bamboo chairs with round green and sand striped cushions. Four white rattan stools at the nearby bar offer more seating.

Living area (first level): A matching blue plaid sofa and loveseat create a cozy conversation area, with a combination of throw pillows in solid burgundy and matching plaid tossed about. Over the sofa, sea oats wave in the foreground of a print depicting a colorful sunset over the ocean. The glass-topped rectangular coffee table and matching end table provide convenient resting spots for your coffee cup, wine glass, or snacks. Triple sliding glass doors, with frames of warm brown pine, lead to the deck, where you'll enjoy a view of the marsh and Intracoastal Waterway to your left and the community pool to your right. In the corner, a faux ficus adds a leafy touch, and a bamboo étagère holds the TV/DVD.

Bedroom 1 (first level): This bedroom features a half-vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, restful green-painted walls, and beige carpet. The pickled pine bedroom suite includes a triple dresser with mirror and a two-drawer night table beside the queen bed, dressed in a palm tree spread and shams in green and ecru. A gold and green striped bedskirt peeks out below. There is a wall-mounted television, and a convenient closet with a stock of puzzles.

You'll find a glass-door stand-up shower in the hall bath, which is tastefully wallpapered in striped floral beige, red, blue, and white, with a grapevine heart wreath adorned with pink, lavender, and aqua raffia as a decorative wall accent.

Bedroom 2 (top level): A half-vaulted ceiling, wide double windows, and painted blue walls give this bedroom an airy atmosphere. The room offers two double beds with navy, light blue and sea foam green stripped bedding. A matching five-drawer chest with a mirror holds a CD/AM/FM bookshelf music system. On the two-drawer pine night table, you'll find an oyster lamp with a tan shade, an AM/FM clock radio, and a cordless telephone. There's also a desk with a computer, and you'll find plenty of extra pillows and blankets stowed in the closet with its mirrored sliding doors

This bedroom has a private bath that also has a half-vaulted ceiling. There is a tub/shower combo here and wallpaper of delicate Williamsburg blue and rose flowers against a sand background.

Bedroom 3 (top level): The king-sized bed is dressed in a cream, tan, quilt with matching shams. The bedside table holds a green lamp and a telephone. Triple sliding glass doors covered in coordinating green sheers lead to a private deck, where you will have an incredible view of the Topsail Island marshes, Intracoastal Waterway, and tidal creeks. This room features a half-vaulted ceiling with a white ceiling fan, a wall-mounted television, and a closet with mirrored sliding doors.

The private bath, also with a half-vaulted ceiling, has a tub/shower combo and is decorated in a lovely rose, blue, and sand striped and floral wallpaper.
