Dine at one of North Topsail's fine dining restaurants or cook in for a quiet dinner at home. Take a drive south to Surf City for shopping, casual and fine dining, nightlife, and of course, surfing! Head north to Sneads Ferry for personal watercraft and boat rentals, locally caught seafood, world-class golf, and more. Topsail Island is full of treasures to be discovered.

Waffle's House is a beautiful oceanfront home that sits back from the road with attractive landscape beds filled with pampas grass, palm trees, oleander, a more. The oceanside yard has many outdoor decks to enjoy. The private beach access is reached by a continuous boardwalk that connects all the decks as well as the outdoor shower area.

The lower level offers covered parking for 2, while the concrete drive can accommodate up to 4 vehicles. The concrete deck extends underneath where visitors will find a gas grill and a charcoal grill. A small raised wooden deck off the back offers a nice sun filled spot for grilling. Step off the deck to find a comfortable hammock swinging below the upper decks. However, be sure you don't fall asleep and burn the burgers. Further along the boardwalk the outdoor shower has its own deck with a built-in bench. And just at the peak of the dune, a raised deck catches the breeze off the ocean located just a few steps away.

1st Level:The tiled entry leads up to the 1st Level where you will find 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a laundry closet. The washer and dryer are neatly arranged in a closet off the hallway with an overhead shelf. The full bath around the corner is shared by all and has a long vanity with dual sinks, a shower/tub with glass doors, and soothing soft gray walls with bright white trim. All bedrooms are oceanfront and have terrific views.

Bedroom 1 Master Bedroom:A beautiful white woven bedspread covers the king size bed. The white wicker headboard matches the two nightstands on each side. Enjoy your favorite show on the television in the corner with VHS player. Treat yourself at the end of the day to a bath in the whirlpool tub. Your private bath also has a walk in shower with a glass door. Step out to the oceanfront deck afterwards and enjoy the sea breeze. Have a seat in a generous wooden rocker or share the wicker swing for two at the far end of the deck.

Bedroom 2:This room is ideal for younger vacationers. Two sets of bunk beds offer twin beds on top and double beds below. The comforters and the wall decor are in a bright and cheerful nautical theme. The closet holds a tall chest of drawers and extra pillows for the perfect night's sleep. Ocean views are enjoyed through the large windows in the daytime, and the sounds of the sea will lull you to sleep at night.

Bedroom 3:This bedroom offers a queen-size bed with a tropical sunset comforter. Turn on the television to catch the morning weather or stroll out to the deck to see for yourself. Smell the salt air and let your eyes feast on the picture before you: softly waving sea oats in front of sparkling ocean waves.

2nd Level:The top floor offers vacationers a spacious great room with open kitchen, a fourth bedroom, a full bath, another oceanfront deck and a sound side balcony.

Bedroom 4 Suite:The queen-size bed has a weathered white finish that matches the nightstand on the left. Two tall white dressers are on opposite ends of the room and a sweet white wicker vanity table with mirror and cushioned stool is tucked in the corner. A television is also provided. This bedroom has a private door to a shared full bath. Tremendous ocean views can be seen through the double window door to the oceanfront deck.

Great Room:High ceilings, soft gray walls, bright white trim and windows galore infuse this room with light. Enjoy ocean views from anywhere in the room. Relax in comfort on the sectional sofa or choose from 2 comfortable rocking chairs and 2 denim stuffed recliners. The entertainment center offers a television, DVD player and portable stereo with CD and cassette player. Choose a board game or puzzle from the cabinet below and gather round for family fun and laughter.

The dining area has views of both sides of the island; you can't get that at a restaurant.A white tile top table seats 6 and has views across the room to the ocean. Look through the sliding door on the sound side and enjoy views of the marsh and creeks. Step out to the sound side balcony for some after dinner conversation.

Crisp white cabinets with deep gray countertops hold everything you will need for a fabulous dinner at home. The ample supply of dishware, glassware and cookware are complimented by many small appliances. A blender, toaster, electric can opener, crock-pot and mixer are provided, as well as a coffee bean grinder and coffee maker. Large appliances include a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice, smooth top stove, built-in microwave, and of course, a dishwasher.

Waffle's House is just the place for your next trip to paradise. For a relaxing retreat and a break from reality that cannot be beat, come wander along the seashore of Topsail Island.

Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
