Bring your boat, jets skis, bait and tackle for fishing or maybe even a canoe because this home has a private waterfront boat dock. As Good As It Gets is located on the South end of Topsail Island, just minutes from shopping, dining and more. Discover all that Topsail Beach has to offer including fine dining, fishing and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital. The best part of this vacation home is the sound-side waterfront location. This vacation home is perfect for the active family who love the outdoors! Located on a quaint street of the island, this cottage has a nice yard, a carport, and an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water for your comfort. The steps leading up to the main level are wide and sturdy and end at the beginning of an enormous deck spanning around most of the home. At the top of the stairs, you will find the porch leads you into a nice sized eat in kitchen. The highlight here is a great country table with seating for the whole family. There is even a breakfast bar for quick snacks or kitchen prep work. The kitchen is well equipped with full size refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave. The living area offers plenty of seating and a game table. There is a TV, VCR, stereo, books, and games for those rainy days but the outdoors of this home is the true joy. Exit the living area to the huge, partially covered sound-side deck. Several rocking chairs welcome you to sit and enjoy the views. There is a fish cleaning/prepping area and a grill makes this an entire separate living area. Follow a few steps to the private boardwalk that will lead you onto the sound for great fishing, or better yet, bring your boat, jet skis, or canoe and enjoy the sea for all it has to offer. This home is worth the sunsets you can enjoy every evening from the wrap around deck. Coming back indoors you will find three bedrooms. The country comfort of the master bedroom will soothe you after an exciting day on the water. Access to the main bathroom from the master bedroom makes your stay convenient and the windows offer lots of light and plenty of salty breezes. The second bedroom offers a full bed and twin camp style bed. The third bedroom offers double bunks that can sleep four. These two bedrooms are joined by the second bedroom in the house. The space in this three bedroom home is arranged to make plenty of room for the kids, cousins, and friends. There are fun and nautical touches throughout this cottage and your family will be comfortably entertained with ample places to play, plenty of games and books to enjoy, and an added advantage: you can bring your best friend, As Good As It Gets accepts pets with a deposit. Your check-in location is our Surf City office. Linens are provided. Pets are permitted with a $125.00(plus tax) pet fee per pet. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Maximum occupancy is 6 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation. |
