C-Notes is a conveniently-located 3 bedroom, 2 bath Topsail Island townhome that's the perfect setting for your next beach vacation.

C-Notes is located in the private townhome community of Turtle Cove, which offers private beach access and a community pool for guests to enjoy. C-Notes is just a half-mile from Surf City dining spots. There's also an Art Gallery nearby, and you can stock your home-away-from-home with provisions from the local supermarket just down the road. Just across South Topsail Drive from C-Notes is a basketball court and playground, and a rock path provides easy access to the beach. Check out the fishing at the Surf City Pier, and grab a quick sandwich at the grill.

When you open the front door at C-Notes, you'll be greeted by an elegant brown étagère whose contents set the tone for your stay. One shelf holds a jar of Topsail Island shells, another an artisan vase. The theme is "beauty: just enough and not too much." A pair of umbrellas tucked behind the door and a collection of beach bags are the first hints of all the extra little "niceties" awaiting you at C-Notes.

Down the hallway to your left are the conveniently located laundry room, the master bathroom, and the elegant master bedroom, where sliding glass doors open on to a roomy private deck with a panoramic view of Topsail Island's salt marshes and tidal creeks.

Master Bedroom:This bedroom features a king-sized bed with headboard and footboard artfully styled in tongue-and-groove cream-colored wood, with interlocking arches atop both the headboard and the mirror on the matching dresser. The covering is a horizontal wave-pattern spread of bold turquoise, chartreuse, black, and cream; above the headboard, embossed metal art shows off leaf designs. Night tables hold a tasteful lamp of black wrought iron with a brown shade, as well as a cordless telephone, AM/FM radio with alarm clock, and even a flashlight. On the dresser, a tall black lamp, pearl and sand vases, and a glass fish containing Topsail Island seashells complete the décor. You'll find a white wicker chair with matching chartreuse cushion for comfortable seating, a television, and a roomy closet.

The master bath floor is variegated sand ceramic tile, and a turquoise and chartreuse ellipse pattern shower curtain covers the generously sized shower.

Bedroom 2:In the second bedroom, an ecru wicker queen-sized bed is covered in alternating dark and light teal hues. A matching night table and a low green chest complete the furnishings. There is a cordless telephone, spacious closet, wall mirror, and full-length mirror on the rear of the door. This room's private bath boasts a wide vanity, a tub and shower with a botanical motif green and blue color-blocked shower curtain.

Ascend to C-Notes top level to enter the inviting living/dining/kitchen area, where sliding glass doors open onto a deck affording the same view available from the master bedroom below. Two russet Adirondack chairs and a round table with four canvas chairs invite relaxation and alfresco dining.

Inside, the sofa is upholstered in variations of green, from olive to lime, with a matching throw and gold and blue accent pillows. An elegant still life hung above the sofa reflects the blue, gold, and green tones. A plush recliner incorporates the greens and golds, and the blues are repeated in the mamasan chair cushion. Be sure to sign the guest book on the glass-topped coffee table.

Three tulip globes on the ceiling fan and a torchiere with a large frosted glass lamp on top and a smaller one on an adjustable arm just below allow for soft or bright lighting. Low shelves hold a TV, DVD, VCR, CD and cassette player.

Dining Area:The dining area features recessed lighting over the dining table, which seats four. You'll love setting this table with bright dishes accented by blue, green, russet, and gold geometrically patterned rims around white centers. Four more seats are available at the bar between the table and kitchen.

Kitchen:Marbled sand countertops provide ample room for meal preparation in the fully-equipped kitchen; you'll find a built-in microwave, a double stainless sink, dishwasher, electric can opener, and an invitation to help yourself to condiments in the refrigerator as well as the stocked rotating spice rack on the counter. Fish and shell woodcarvings rest atop the cabinets, along with a glass fish and a basket in the same light oak tones as the bar stools. A floral and fruit patterned green octagonal rug provides the perfect splash of color to set off the ceramic tile flooring.

Down the hall from the kitchen, you'll find the upstairs bath and the third bedroom. This bath features a blue and white narrow stripe seersucker shower curtain covering a generous two-seated shower. A shell-patterned soap dish and matching toothbrush holder accent the vanity.

Bedroom 3:In the bedroom, a queen-sized bed with iron headboard and footboard is covered in alternating light and dark blue and ecru stripes. The original oil painting above the bed of an inlet storm echoes these colors. A night table holds an AM/FM radio with alarm clock, and a cordless telephone. A beautiful low mahogany four-drawer chest that provides storage for your belongings holds a large sand-cast sculpture of a fig shell and a white lamp with an artful coiled rattan base.
