Ground Level: There is shaded parking under the home, as well as a sizeable driveway. With parking for at least four cars, there is enough room to bring your extended family or friends for a day or two. Notice a private outdoor shower with hot and cold water for your comfort, and a shaded hammock primed for your relaxation. Ascend the stairs to a wrap around deck that leads to the boardwalk and beach.

First Level: Enter the great room of this cottage and breathe a sigh of relief. You have arrived at your Topsail Island haven. The layout is one that provides a gathering space for everyone and an openness that ensures even the cook is not left out of the action. This beach vacationers dream, features hand painted water colors by local artists.

The roomy kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There is ample preparation space on the counter, which doubles as a breakfast bar, with seating for two on blue stools. Make a batch of cookies or a long awaited home cooked dinner. There is a high chair for the convenience of the little ones and you will find seating for six at the dining table. A small storage cabinet has drawers full of games and puzzles. Keep your evening simple with a family game night. A full sized washer and dryer, adjacent to the kitchen, allow you to pack light and make yourself at home.

The living area is furnished with a Queen Sleeper Sofa and matching Loveseat. A few additional chairs and tables complete the seating area, with enough room for everyone to kick back and relax. A pickled bamboo entertainment center houses a TV (with expanded cable), VCR, DVD player and a few choice movies. A bakers rack holds books, a CD player and a few whimsical decorations. This home is well cared for and celebrates an easy living on the coast. Step out on the covered oceanfront deck and find a couple of rockers just waiting to lull you into a peaceful state while you gaze upon the shore. Bring out a cup of coffee at sunrise and fix your eyes on the multitude of colors parading before you on the horizon.

A master bedroom with private access to the bathroom is spacious and bright. The Queen sized bed has a charming light blue comforter with navy accent pillows. The matching dresser, with mirror and nightstand, accommodate all your clothes and personal items. The sea shell carvings on the dresser compliment the new artwork hung over the bed. Lie back and watch the cable TV or use the DVD to watch your favorite blockbuster. This cool and relaxing space is set aglow with the sun setting below the sound.

Second Level: An open set of cherry stairs lead to a loft style hall. A blue chest with a few puzzles and a small sharing library of books furnish the space. There are two bedrooms on this level and each has private access to the shared bath. The first bedroom offers a twin bed and bunk beds, dressed in blue and green comforters. The oak chest of drawers with matching mirror and night stand provide a place for the guests in this room to store their favorite fashions, beach towels, and other essentials. They can entertain themselves with the TV (with expanded cable) and DVD player. The second bedroom has a comfortable Queen sized bed dressed in a fun blue and green comforter set. The chest of drawers and nightstand match the headboard which has bamboo accents. Tucked inside the closet is a handy baby gate. This room offers slight ocean views and warm scenes of the sunsets. A TV with DVD is there as well.

Tranquil Shores is a smoke-free and pet-free property. Your check-in location is our Surf City office and your check-in time is 3:30pm unless you have purchased the early bird check-in option.
