Venture a few minutes down the road and find casual and fine dining restaurants, gift and beach shops, groceries, bike rentals, and so much more. Fresh local seafood is available for purchase at seafood markets or you can catch your own dinner at the Surf City Pier. Head north to Sneads Ferry for boat and watercraft rentals or a round of world-class golf. A short drive south to Topsail Beach offers even more restaurants and shops, including a local bookstore for a new summer read.

Bermuda Landing is a cozy island community on Stump Sound in North Topsail. Residents and guests enjoy use of the community pool and the pier that extends into the wide creek waters. Beach access at the end of 11th Ave. is just 3 blocks away.

Jake's Place backs up to the marsh and large creeks that make up Stump Sound. Incredible water views across the sound can be enjoyed from the back yard and double decks. The concrete drive has parking for one and the garage has protected parking for a second vehicle. There is plenty of storage space in the garage for beach chairs, toys, or kayaks. The front yard has a planting of Oleanders on one side and pretty Pampas grasses on the other. Step up to the outdoor shower for a quick rinse after a day at the beach. Stairs lead up to the front deck where you can take a seat and take in the view looking north across the sound.

1st Level:This floor has a great room, a full bath, a laundry closet, and a den on the sound side that has a waterfront deck with amazing views.

The great room has a wraparound sectional for comfortable conversations with family and friends while you prepare dinner in the kitchen. The natural wood cabinets and soft gray countertops have an ample supply of dishware, cookware, and small appliances. A coffee maker, toaster, and blender are provided. Large appliances include a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice, a stove, dishwasher, and built-in microwave. The glass top dining table seats 6. White washed bamboo frame chairs have upholstered cushions that match the sectional upholstery for a custom look. A television and portable stereo rest on the corner of the kitchen bar.

Attached to the kitchen is a hallway that leads you to the full bath on the right. The brightly colored shower curtain is complimented by fish wall art.

The den offers a red striped sleeper sofa you can sink into for a relaxed night of reading or watching your favorite show. The entertainment center has a television and DVD player and a small set of shelves has a book library to choose from. Sliding doors lead out to the waterfront deck. The black metal patio set offers seating for 4. Have a memorable evening meal with incredibly tranquil views of the creek and marsh grass islands. Listen to the crickets, watch the fish jump, and forget the rest of the world. Paradise found.

2nd Level:This floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath.

Bedroom 1:This bedroom offers a queen size bed with a headboard that has built-in drop down cabinets. An armoire with three drawers and a closet provide plenty of space to unpack your wardrobe.

The full bath is just around the corner, located between the two bedrooms. Palm tree décor spices up the subtle khaki colored shower curtain.

Bedroom 2:The queen size bed has a deep blue and green comforter that contrasts nicely with the white washed island finish of the headboard and armoire. The large closet offers easy access with two mirrored sliding doors. Views across the sound can be seen through the double door to the deck. Stroll outside and let your mind unwind as you gaze at the wide stretch of water sparkling beneath the sun, interrupted only by narrow islands of marsh grass.

Jake's Place is a little piece of paradise on the Sound. Spend the day at the beach, swim in the pool, kayak the sound, or just enjoy the view; there's something for everyone here.

Your check-in location is our Sneads Ferry office. Linens are provided. Pets are gladly permitted with pet-fee. Smoking is not permitted. Maximum occupancy is 6 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
