Everyone will have a private space, furnished with comfort as a top priority. Several artistic and nautical touches throughout this spacious home add interest and fun to your stay.

Ground Level: From the moment you pull up the gravel drive and into the paved underneath parking area you will be pleased with your selection of Stumpy's Lair as your vacation home. There is an outdoor shower at the rear of the home, with hot and cold water for your comfort. Ascend the wide front steps to the street-side deck and enter the First Level of the home. As an alternative, use the convenient wet weather entrance where sunlight dances off the white paneling and leads you up a few stairs to the First Level.

First Level: On this level you will find 3 generously sized bedrooms, each with a sliding glass door leading to an ocean-side covered deck. There are two nicely decorated bathrooms and a full sized washer and dryer. The walls are a warm yellow with white trim, the hallway and bathrooms are tiled, the bedrooms have a neutral Berber carpet, and the windows have white plantation style blinds.

The first bedroom on this level has a Queen sized bed covered in a snappy blue and red nautical quilt. The white wicker furnishings add to the coastal feeling. The TV, telephone, alarm clock, and ceiling fan all enhance the comfort of this room. Easy access to the bathroom and deck make this room a great selection.

The second bedroom is a great spot for the kids with 2 sets of bunk beds covered in soft blue and white quilts. The kids will enjoy their own TV, DVD player and alarm clock. The sunlight streams into this quiet space from the sliding glass door leading to the deck.

The third bedroom offers two daybeds covered in pretty blue quilts. There is a TV for the enjoyment of the guests as well as a ceiling fan for their comfort. There is plenty of room for lounging or playing. This room is adjacent to the second bathroom on this level and the deck is just through the sliding glass doors.

A nice set of stairs, lit by a ship-inspired window, lead you to the Second Level of this impeccable home.

Second Level: Enter this elegant space, with warm hardwood floors and comfortable furnishings, and let the relaxation begin. The open airy feel of this space, embellished with beautiful windows, invites the family to hang out and enjoy their coastal vacation. Privacy is not lost, as each window has a set of perfectly fit plantation blinds.

The living area has heavy-duty wicker furnishings that include a reading chair and ottoman, sofa and loveseat. A large entertainment center houses a TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo system and CD player. Several books, games and puzzles are available for everyone's enjoyment and the sea life inspired artistic touches add a dimension of whimsy.

The dining area is well lit and roomy with an oversized table and eight chairs. Enjoy a large family meal, have a game night, or have the kids work a puzzle or two.

The elegance of the kitchen is undeniable. Cooking is a pleasure with the upscale appliances, dinnerware, and many extras found in this space. There is a side by side refrigerator with convenient in-door ice dispenser, a sleek flat top range and oven, microwave, dishwasher and double stainless sink with handy sprayer and disposal. Many extras include a coffee pot, toaster oven and blender. Seating for two is found at the bar area, which doubles as a preparation area.

The ocean side deck invites you through the sliding glass doors located in the dining and living areas. On this large deck, there are two tables with seating for 8, endless ocean breezes and views of the horizon. Nice wide stairs lead to the First Level deck and then on to the Ground Level. Access to the beach is just around the corner.

Your check-in location is our Surf City office. Linens are provided. Pets are not permitted in this property. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Maximum occupancy is 10 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation. NOTE: only 10 pool passes per reservation- additional may be purchased and need to be arranged before your arrival.
