Dine at one of North Topsail's fine dining restaurants or cook in for a quiet dinner at home. Take a drive south to Surf City for shopping, casual and fine dining, nightlife, and of course, surfing! Head north to Sneads Ferry for personal watercraft and boat rentals, locally caught seafood, world-class golf, and more. Topsail Island is full of treasures waiting to be discovered.

Castaway can accommodate up to 8 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. This oceanfront duplex home is in a quiet neighborhood on the north end of Topsail Island. Two oceanfront decks offer views of the beach and ocean. Step off the deck to your own private beach. Grab your boogie board and head for the surf.

Lower Level:The concrete drive offers parking for two, while the carport has parking for one. A park bench is set on the side of the brick path to the front stairs. Have a seat and feel the ocean breeze. A large shaded deck is located under the house and includes an enclosed outdoor shower on the left side.

1st Level:Climb the wide staircase to the landing at the front door and enter into the hallway. This floor has three bedrooms from which to choose. Straight ahead is a full bath with a glass door shower and tub. A pretty wicker frame mirror stands out against the pale yellow walls.

Just down the hall is a large closet that holds the washer and dryer. Looking for a summer novel? Make your selection from the bookshelf in the hall loaded with great beach reads.

Bedroom 1:The queen size bed is covered with a shell comforter framed on each side with two white end tables with drawers. A view across the island can be seen through the large picture window dressed with striped tab top panels. Two unique dark finish chests with brass hardware stand side by side to store your summer wardrobe. A wicker chair in the corner sits below a suspended television with VHS player.

Bedroom 2:This bedroom offers both a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Red, white and blue striped comforters dress up the wooden bunk beds. A modern multi-colored bedspread covers the double bed. A combination table and lamp sits between the beds across from the solid wood dresser. White cotton duck curtains soften the picture window. A television is also provided.Master Bedroom:This bedroom is oceanfront and has a large deck with stairs to the beach. A king size bed with a basket weave headboard is centered along one wall with two nautical style side tables. The navy blue and tan floral comforter drapes over the navy bed skirt. A white rocker provides a relaxing spot to enjoy the view through the sliders. Catch the latest weather on the suspended television, in perfect view of the bed. A phone and clock radio are also provided. Set your suitcase on the provided luggage stand and freshen up in the full master bathroom. It's time to take a stroll on the sun kissed beach outside.

2nd Level:The great room is open and spacious with soft cream walls and views of the ocean. Cathedral ceilings in the dining and living areas add volumes to the room. Space abounds in this kitchen with wraparound countertops. Appliances include a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. In the morning a coffee maker and teakettle offer your choice of beverages. Make some toast or warm up a muffin in the toaster oven and head out to the deck to greet the sun. What a way to start the day. A blender and electric can opener provide additional convenience. The breakfast bar seats 4 on tall swivel chairs. The dining area has a rectangular glass table with seating for 6 on white bamboo cushioned chairs. A picture window is along one wall and views of the ocean can be seen through the deck doors. Spending the evening ‘in' is much more exciting when you're at the ocean. Enjoy an ocean view dinner and take the after dinner conversation out to the deck under the stars. The living room offers a matching sofa and loveseat in a light yellow botanical print. Or you can sink into the overstuffed tan leather chair, turn on the television and watch a movie on the DVD player. Sliders lead out to the upper deck and the expansive view of the deep blue sea. Follow the stairs to the lower deck and on to the beach.

Once you settle in at Castaway you may never want to leave Topsail Island. Spend your days listening to the waves and soaking up the sun. What could be better?

Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
