Dine at one of North Topsail's fine dining restaurants or cook in for a quiet dinner at home. Take a drive south to Surf City for shopping, casual and fine dining, nightlife, and of course, surfing! Head north to Sneads Ferry for personal watercraft and boat rentals, locally caught seafood, world-class golf, and more. Topsail Island is full of treasures waiting to be discovered.

Spicer is a relaxed and spacious beach home with views of the ocean on one side and the sound on the other. Beach access is at the end of 9th Ave. just a short walk away. Grab your towel and suntan lotion and head to the beach for some sun and fun. Spicer has accommodations for 9 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Lower Level:Parking for two is available in the natural driveway, while covered parking for one is available in the carport. An enclosed storage room under the house offers room for your beach gear as well as the provided umbrella, beach chairs, and extra deck chairs. Cook up your very own ‘cheeseburger in paradise' on the charcoal grill and take it up to the deck for a terrific view.

The washer and dryer are also located in the lower storage area. At the bottom of the stairs, there is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water for rinsing off the salty sea from your day frolicking along the shores of Topsail.

Main Level:The front ocean view deck runs the width of the house with plenty of seating room.Enjoy views of the dunes and ocean as you watch the shrimp boats net their catch. The front entrance brings you into the center of the great room, where cathedral ceilings and warm tan walls create an open and inviting space. To the right is the dining and kitchen area where you will find a sturdy wooden table with 2 long benches and 2 captain's chairs. Seating for 8 is available at the dinner table with additional seating for 3 at the large center island bar in the kitchen. The dining table is surrounded by windows with ocean and island views. Cook up a feast of local shrimp, oysters and clams in the provided stockpot and gather round for the ultimate seafood buffet. Blonde cabinets are well stocked with dishes, glassware and cookware. Make some coffee or tea in the morning and pop some English muffins in the toaster. Take your breakfast out to the deck, sit back in an Adirondack chair and inhale the fresh salt breeze. What a way to start the day. Kitchen appliances include a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and the previously mentioned coffee maker, teapot, and toaster.

At the end of the day, relax and turn on your favorite movie or catch up on the latest news. The television comes with a VHS player. If music stirs your soul, turn on the 5 CD player and stereo with tuner and equalizer and get your groove on. The L-shaped seating arrangement in the living room includes a sofa, loveseat and chair with ottoman. Six windows fill the west wall of the room and offer views of the island and sound.

Head down the hallway, past the kitchen, and vacationers will find 2 bedrooms and a full bath with shower and tub.

Bedroom 1:This bedroom has a private deck along the rear of the house with views across the island to the ocean. Escape here at the end of the day, for your own little piece of quiet paradise, or rise early in the morning and watch the sunrise. A queen size bed, dresser, alarm clock and a television are offered. Two windows in the east offer ocean views.

Bedroom 2:Simple and spacious, this bedroom is perfect for younger vacationers, with plenty of room for toys or personal items. This room accommodates 3 with two twin beds and 1 trundle bed. A low table holds a television and an alarm clock. Stow your wardrobe in the walk in closet and hit the beach.

Upper Level:The entire top floor is reserved for the master bedroom. Cathedral ceilings accommodate two overhead fanlights. Six windows on three sides let in natural light and offer views spanning the island from the ocean to the sound. This room sleeps 4 with a queen size bed, 1 twin bed and 1 trundle bed. On one end of the room, a walk in closet the size of a small room offers shelves and racks galore. At the other end, a large bathroom offers you a choice of a shower or bath. The walk in shower has a seat, an overhead light and a heat vent available for stepping out on a chilly morning. Or you can opt for a bubble bath in the long whirlpool tub with plenty of room to stretch your legs. Soft recessed lights set the mood for a romantic evening. The dual sink vanity has a mirrored wall above for getting gussied up for a night on the town. This relaxing retreat will make you feel like royalty this vacation.
