| 1 More Day is a spacious and relaxed oceanfront home. Smell the salt air and feel the ocean breeze in your hair. Welcome to paradise. Just a short walk down the road is the heart of Topsail Beach. Dine at the local restaurants and browse through an array of gift shops. Check out the famous Turtle Hospital or the Missiles and More Museum. Take a stroll down to the Jolly Roger Pier and catch a fresh fish for dinner. A short drive north is the center of Surf City offering a bevy of restaurants, gift shops, surfing, and more. Bike and kayak rentals are nearby for your own explorations of the island by land or sea. Head north to Sneads Ferry and you'll find personal watercraft and boat rentals and a world-class golf course. Topsail Island has it all. 1 More Day sits along the edge of a large dune and has private beach access from the oceanfront deck. Just 16 steps from the deck to the beach! An abundance of beach chairs and boogie boards are available in the enclosed garage. Lower Level:1 More Day has 2 bedrooms on the lower level and 3 bedrooms upstairs. As you enter through the front door on the lower level you'll find stairs to the right leading up to the great room. Head down the aquamarine colored hallway and you'll find a full bath on the left with driftwood gray walls and a roomy walk in shower. Bedroom 1:This bedroom offers 1 twin bed and 1 double bed. Red, white, and blue nautical striped comforters coordinate well with blue striped bed skirts. A tall sage green chest of drawers is along one wall with an alarm clock perched on top. You can store additional clothing, toys and personal items on several empty shelves along the opposite wall. Bedroom 2:This bedroom joins Bedroom 1 by a common door as well as having an entrance from the hall. This is a surfer's place to be sure. 1 double and 1 twin bed have tropical surfer quilts in bright cheerful colors. A television with VHS player can be viewed from the beds. Also on this level is the laundry room. Located on the left after you enter through the front door, it is home to a washer, dryer, and some helpful shelving. Second Level:Head on upstairs and find the airy and inviting great room. On the street side the kitchen forms a large horseshoe with a profusion of white cabinets. A highchair and phone are available. Appliances include a side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water, a smooth top stove, dishwasher, d microwave. Also offered are a blender, toaster oven, coffee maker and coffee grinder. If you prefer, a teapot is also available. A door leads out to the side deck with stairs down to the driveway and on the ocean side wraps around to the main deck and beach access. A nice convenience is a low clothesline strung through the deck railing for drying those wet suits and towels. The dining area holds an enormous table, solid wood, with seating for 10. A modern chandelier provides lighting above. To the right built-in cabinets displays a nice selection of movies, both VHS and DVD. Make some family memories with board games, puzzles, or a game of cards. Sink into the overstuffed sofa or loveseat in navy blue and white stripes. Square wooden end tables and coffee table are sturdy yet stylish and blend well with the beach theme. The television next to the sliding deck door has a VHS and DVD player and can be viewed from anywhere in the great room. High speed wireless internet helps you stay in touch or check your email. A tropical, rustic aqua rocker provides additional seating. Put on some beach music with the portable stereo, CD, or cassette player and stroll out to the deck to take in the view. Have a seat in a cushioned rocker or take your sandwich over to the patio table for an ocean view lunch. Just steps away at the end of the deck are your private boardwalk to the beach. On the way back, wash off at the outdoor shower. Bedroom 3:On the right at the top of the stairs, this bedroom has a king size bed with a dolphin print comforter. Carved palm tree lamps sit atop two white end tables. A matching table sits at the end of the bed. Light driftwood gray walls continue the beach feel throughout. A full bath is located off the small hallway between bedroom 3 and 4. An underwater fish scene shower curtain and brightly colored fish scatter rugs brighten the space. Bedroom 4:Two twin beds are dressed in red, white, and blue quilts with lighthouses and sailboats.A crimson red wooden chair with a woven seat is a cute functional accent piece. Matching furniture includes a dresser that holds a television. Master Bedroom: The queen size, lighthouse bedspread in blue, red and pale yellow is just right with the blue striped bed skirt. Fish net rope curtains gracefully frame the windows that offer views of the ocean, beach and dunes. A tall wooden chest of drawers holds a unique stained glass shell lamp. There is also a white wooden open desk top and a bright red woven seat chair. Study the night sky with the large telescope in the corner. Enjoy your private full bath. 1 More Day is most appropriately named. After spending time in this beach front home, you too will say "Just 1 More Day !" Live the island life this vacation: Smell the surf when you arise in the morning and let the waves lull you to sleep. Your check-in location is our Surf City office. Linens are provided. Pets are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted. Maximum occupancy is 10 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option.
