Just a short drive south is the heart of Surf City where vacationers will delight in the wide selection of recreational activities. Grab your bike and see the sights, shop at the many beach and gift stores, fish, boat, surf, or kayak. Or just relax and work on your tan. Enjoy the local fare at our casual and fine dining restaurants or cook in for Oceanside dining a la Rete's Retreat for the best view in town.

On the lower level, parking for 2 is available in the concrete driveway with additional covered parking for 2 under the carport. To the left of the drive a staircase leads up to the main entrance and a sloped deck provides convenient access to the elevator in the shelter of the carport. This level also has a wet weather entrance with a storage room for beach gear. Boogie boards, a few beach chairs, and sand toys are provided. A large enclosed outdoor shower offers hot and cold water and a foot wash.

The main entrance opens into a hallway with access to the elevator directly to the right. Three bedrooms and 2 baths are located on this floor.

Bedroom 1: The queen size bed with lighthouse and sailboat is complimented by the bisque finish bedroom set that includes a tall dresser with mirror and matching end table. Extra blankets and pillows are stored in the closet for the perfect night's sleep. The flat screen TV has a DVD and VHS player for your viewing enjoyment. Access to the rear deck is just through the sliding door where you can rest your feet in a rocking chair.

Bedroom 2: This bedroom accommodates 4 with two sets of bunk beds. White wooden frames and pale yellow walls contrast nicely with navy blue sports theme comforters. The white wicker dresser holds a TV with DVD and VHS player for your children's favorite movies. A sliding door leads out to the rear deck with views across the island.

Bedroom 3- Master Bedroom: Oceanfront and spacious, this bedroom offers a sitting area with 2 swivel rocking chairs in which to enjoy the flat screen TV with DVD and VHS. The queen size bed is dressed with a sailboat quilt and sits between two nightstands with unique lighthouse lamps. The matching dresser, mirror, and headboard with carved pineapple detail complete the set. A clock radio and phone are also provided.The upscale master bathroom has a step in tiled shower with sliding glass doors and beautiful fixtures, a double vanity, and 2 ocean view windows.

Relish the unobstructed ocean views through 2 double window sliding doors that lead out to the oceanfront deck that spans the width of the house. Smell the salt air and watch the incoming tide as the waves roll across the sand.

Bedroom 4: At the top of the stairs on the left, this bedroom has a queen size bed, a large framed mirror, a tall dresser with matching nightstand, a swivel rocker, clock radio, and a television with DVD and VHS player. Two south facing windows have ocean views and the rear upper deck has views across the island. The bedroom sliding door has access to the shared deck as well as a door at the end of the hallway.

The laundry quarters are just across the hall and offer an iron, ironing board, and a full size washer and dryer. Adjacent is the full bath with tiled floor, linen closet, and shower with tub.

Great Room: The entire great room has tiled floors, cathedral ceilings and tremendous views. Three double window sliders and four windows fill the room with light and entertain the senses with the panoramic ocean views.

The well-stocked kitchen is clean and bright with white cabinets and speckled solid surface countertop. Four tall swivel chairs offer seating at the wide breakfast bar. Appliances include a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice, smooth top stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher, blender, mixer, coffee maker, teapot, and a toaster that also accommodates bagels. In the morning, take your coffee and bagel out to the oceanfront upper deck and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic.

Oceanside dining is available for 10 on matching solid wood chairs. Cook up a delicious mouth-watering seafood feast of local oysters and shrimp and gather your family around the table. Head out to the deck for some after dinner conversation and relax in thelarge rocking chairs with a cool drink. Ahhh: this is living.

The living room area offers guests the choice of a matching blue sleep sofa and loveseat with lighthouse tapestry pillows, a swivel rocking recliner, and a bamboo swivel rocker all arranged in view of the large flat screen TV with DVD and VHS players. Take in the ocean view from the sofa or pop in your favorite movie for a fun family evening. Elevator access for this floor is adjacent to the media center.
