Bunker 2 is a coastal retreat like no other. This three-bedroom house features a private one-bedroom apartment, and front row seating to the tide changes, accommodating up to 12 people. Just hunker down and get ready for a vacation that will keep your family talking for years to come! The warm toned paneling throughout this home with many fishing inspired decorations, quaint furnishings, and country appeal make this getaway as easy going as it gets.

Ground Level: the gently sloped driveway is a long inviting entrance to this ocean front getaway. Lined with driftwood, sea grass, and coastal flowers, this entrance lets you know you are embarking on a one of a kind vacation. There is ample parking, several cars can stay on the gravel and one car can be shaded in the underneath carport. There is a small seating area flanked by a set of stairs on either side. As a bonus, there is a private one-bedroom apartment on this level.

The apartment has a private entrance and offers a seating area with Queen Sleeper Sofa and a recliner. There is a little kitchen with a refrigerator, range, sink, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven, and a breakfast bar with three stools. On the way to the bedroom, you will notice a full sized washer and dryer as well as a spacious bathroom. The bedroom offers a Queen sized bed, chest of drawers, small desk, two night tables, and a chair. The curtains and bedspread are matching floral prints with dark green background.

First Level: From the small seating area to the left of the carport, ascend the stairs nearest the driveway. Atop the stairs is a small look-out porch. Catch the first sea view from here, before entering the home.

Enter a hallway lined with old fishing nets and treasures found on the shore. The first bedroom on the right offers a Queen sized bed with sweet pink and blue floral bedspread. There is plenty of room to settle in with a vintage dresser and two night tables. There is an ocean view from the northern window and a spacious closet as well. Feel free to set the alarm clock and see the sunrise over the Atlantic.

The second bedroom on the right offers a different view of the surf from the southern window. Open your window and the Carolina breezes will lull you to sleep while you settle into the King sized bed covered in a pink and navy floral spread. A vintage chest of drawers will gladly house all your favorite loungewear.

The hallway turns left and you will pass by a full sized bathroom on your way to the third bedroom. The kids will enjoy the simple set of Twin beds and the ocean view. They can display their prized coastal treasures they are sure to find on the shore, on either the night table or small bookshelf.

The kitchen has an ocean view, all the essentials, and a bar that is open to the living area. The cook will stay part of the excitement while preparing the family's favorite dishes. There is a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and stainless steel sink. The pine cupboards are filled with cookware, dishes, and even a blender to mix up a frosty beverage.

The living and dining area are flooded with light glistening off the sea. A large picture window at the dining area will add pleasure and enjoyment to the meals eaten here. A round table with four chairs is situated adjacent to the kitchen bar, which offers seating for five. The living area is warm and inviting. A stone mantel surrounds the wood burning fireplace. A Queen Sleeper Sofa along with a pair of recliners chairs provide plenty of seating. Entertain yourself with the scenery or the items found in the entertainment center. These include a TV, VCR, DVD player, Stereo System, and board games.

A sliding glass door leads to the spacious sun deck. Soak up the sun on the oversized wood lounger. Sip a frothy drink from one of the two Adirondack chairs or head down the stairs to the short boardwalk. The boardwalk is equipped with a handy outdoor shower and leads you to a sparkling stretch of beach. Do a little fishing or take a dip in the surf. Help the kids build a sand castle or take a stroll and hunt for seashells.
