Slip off your shoes and relax in this spacious 2-story oceanfront home. Footprints is only a short drive or bike to the center of Surf City where you will find shopping, dining, fishing piers and recreational activities.

Located on a flag lot, Footprints offers beautiful ocean views from both oceanfront decks. The walk to the beach is minimal, with its own walkway. There are no streets to cross.

Ground Level: Outside you'll find parking or up to 6 vehicles and a wet-weather entrance on both sides of the covered parking. An outside enclosed shower is located on the back side of the house, easily accessible from the ocean side decks. Inside the ground level, guests will find space to store their beach gear and an elevator to take you up to the first and second levels.

First Level: Enter through the decorative glass front door and you'll step into the first floor hallway, which leads you to four bedrooms. At the end of the hallway the sunlight pours into French doors which lead outside to the lower covered deck. Step outside and relax on the rocking chairs or enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic.

The first bedroom, on the left, has a queen size bed, TV, ceiling fan and softly painted green furnishings.

Across the hall you'll find bedroom two, which has two twin bunk beds, a TV and wood furnishings.

Down the left side guests will find the shared bathroom. This spacious room has a bathtub, double sinks and cool tile floors. Next to the bathroom is the elevator.

The second bedroom, on the left, sits on the ocean side of Footprints. This room has a queen size bed, ceiling fan, TV and wood furnishings. Through the French doors guests of this room can easily slip onto the oceanfront covered deck.

Across the hallway is the fourth bedroom. Considered a second master bedroom, this room has a king size bed, TV, ceiling fan and private bathroom. The bathroom has a large bathtub and cool tile floors. French doors lead outside to the lower covered deck, where you can enjoy the cool ocean breezes as you gaze upon the shimmering water.

Upper Level: On the second floor, guests will find a spacious living area filled with wood floors and seashore accessories. The living room has plenty of seating with 2 leather swivel chairs, 2 blue and white club chairs and a comfy blue sofa. The room also offers a TV, VCR, DVD player, gas fireplace, ceiling fan, games, movies and books for everyone to enjoy. A ½ bath is conveniently located near the living room.

Two sets of French doors lead outside to the upper deck; one from the living room and one from the dining room. Guests can enjoy outdoor meals on the deck or lay out in the warm Carolina sun during the afternoons. From the upper deck, you have the best view of the ocean.

The dining room has a large square table, set for 8. Additional seating for 5 can be found at the kitchen bar.

The impressive kitchen offers an open space to the living and dining areas. This room has a refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster and more. The crisp white cabinets are the perfect compliment to the coffee colored tile floor. From the kitchen guest can head outside to the sound view deck. Enjoy watching the sunset over the Island in the evenings or relax and enjoy the sounds of the Island anytime of the day.

The master suite is located on the second level. Spoil yourself for a week in this oceanfront master suite, which offers a king size bed, a TV with DVD player, ceiling fan, and a private bathroom. The bath has a double vanity, oversized tub, large closet and tile floor. French doors lead outside to the open upper deck, where you get the best views of the ocean. Wake up early and enjoy a cup of coffee while you watch the sunrise over the water.

Your check-in location is our Surf City office. This home is on a flag lot. Linens are not provided. Pets are permitted in this property with a $125.00(plus tax)pet fee per pet. Pet restriction - No more than 2 small dogs are allowed. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Maximum occupancy is 12 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
