| Description |
| Sur la Mer, a cute recently renovated and redecorated duplex, is a great get away spot that really maintains the charm of a classic house at the beach. There is parking under the house for a lower height vehicle and additional parking for several vehicles in the driveway. On the right hand side is a stairway leading to the door and lower deck. The lower deck has 2 rocking chairs for enjoying the sunrise over the ocean. There is not beach access directly from this house even though it is right on the beach because of a sand dune. To get to the beach you need to use the access just to the left of the house. Just to the right inside the door is an ocean facing bedroom with a sliding door out to the lower deck. This room has a laminate floor, queen size bed, dresser, ceiling fan and bath with a shower/tub. There is a second door to this bathroom from the hall. On the Left side of the entry is the 2nd bedroom which faces the street. This room has a full size/single size bunk bed and a captain's style bunk bed. There is a dresser, chair, end table and ceiling fan in this room also. There is a surprising amount of open space in this room for playing on the floor. There is a full size washer and dry on the first level as well. Stairs lead to the second level where you will find the living room, kitchen and eating area. The kitchen has solid surface counters, glass top stove, a microwave, a double sink with a pull out faucet, a dishwasher, a side by side refrigerator/freezer and great views of the sound. Off the kitchen is a powder room. The eating area has a "this-end-up" style dining table with 6 chairs. In addition, there are 3 barstools at the counter to the kitchen. The living room has wood floors, a rocker/recliner, a papasan chair, a loveseat, a queen size sleeper couch and an end table. There is a TV, DVD/VCR player and an IPod docking station in the living room. The sliding door in the living room leads to the upper deck which faces the ocean. There is a gas grill, 3 regular deck chairs plus 4 extra high bar chairs. The last bedroom is on the top floor. It is carpeted and has a tall queen size bed, 2 dressers, ceiling fan and a combination TV/VCR. This room has a separate window air conditioner. The private bath has a large vanity and a door to separate the toilet and shower/tub from the rest of the bathroom for privacy. This room has high ocean facing windows. Sur la Mersmoke free home. Pets are permitted. The house has high speed internet access. Your check-in location is our Sneads Ferry office. Linens are provided. Smoking is not permitted in the property. Maximum occupancy is 9 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation. |
