Living area (top level): An elegant glass door and the wide double windows on either side provide a view of the Atlantic Ocean from the top level of this Topsail Island townhome. A lofty vaulted ceiling adds to the spacious feeling here, and the expansive deck invites you to soak in the sun and let all your cares melt away.The sofa, loveseat, and a pair of rockers with bamboo arms are upholstered in a beautiful botanical print of peach, rose, and green against a bright peacock blue background. Cuddle up with one of the several coordinating striped throw pillows tossed about. You can perch your beverage or snacks on the bamboo coffee table or matching end table. An entertainment center holds a TV/DVD/VCR so you can plan a movie night or just stay in touch with the news of the world.

Dining area (top level): A lovely blond oak dining table is surrounded by eight white spindle-back chairs with blond seats that match the table. Woven placemats are in bright beach colors of yellow, blue, and green, and a wide double window by the table lets in natural light.

Kitchen (top level): This kitchen is set off by copious white tongue-and-groove cabinets and a stepped blue bar with four tall spindle-back bar chairs. There's plenty of counter space for meal preparation, and there's a double white cast iron sink, four-slice toaster with extra-wide slots, coffeemaker, blender, dishwasher, and built-in microwave over the range. Check out the storage closet at the top of the stairs to find a steamer pot large enough to make a generous shrimp boil treat for the whole crowd.

Bedroom 1 (top level): A lovely floral print of light and dark lavenders, peacock blue, muted gold, and green against an eggshell background covers the king-sized bed here, with a tone-on-tone tan bedskirt beneath. A shell-filled lamp and clock perch on the matching chest, and the night table holds a matte-finish brass lamp with a white shade. An artful blue tapestry of sailboat and lighthouse provides a nice decorative touch.In the huge adjoining bath, you'll find a six-jet Jacuzzi set off by decorative large block ceramic tile with a vine border and a five-by-five translucent glass block window. There's also a glass-doored stand-up shower with a molded seat and an extra-wide vanity with mirror.

Bedroom 2 (first level): Sunshine lights up this comfortable room through a wide double window on the rear wall and a single window on the side wall, and a pretty five-blade ceiling fan with clear globes will provide a perpetual breeze. The queen-sized bed, with a white tongue-and-groove headboard, is outfitted in a tangerine, crimson, and green spread with matching shams; a coordinating green, blue, and gray bedskirt is beneath. A television sits upon the matching five-drawer chest is a television, and there's an occasional chair.

Bedroom 3 (first level): The buttercream painted walls in this delightful bedroom provide a perfect back drop to the pair of twin beds, dressed prettily in green and yellow color block floral spreads with lavender and white accents and coordinating yellow and green diamond patterned bed skirts. There is a matching night table and a five-drawer chest that holds a telephone and a charming glass lamp filled with colored seashells. A roomy closet provides plenty of room for stowing gear.

Hall bath (first level): Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bath at the end of the first level hallway. This handsome room features warm sand variegated ceramic tile flooring, sand painted walls, a tub/shower combo, and a window facing the rear of the property. Just down the hall from the bath, you'll the washer/dryer behind folding doors.

Bedroom 4 (first level): Open the sliding glass doors here and step out onto your private covered deck to enjoy the Topsail Island sun, breeze, and an ocean view between first-row dwellings. You'll also get that view through the double windows on the side wall. The queen-sized bed here is covered in a lovely green, brown, and light gold bamboo printed spread and matching shams, with a coordinating green striped bedskirt peeking out beneath. A matching tongue-and-groove chest holds a shell-filled lamp and candles in colors to match the bed coverings. This bedroom has its own private bath, with a window overlooking the deck, a tub/shower combo, and ceramic tile flooring.
