When you want to get away from it all come spend some time at Island Hideaway on Topsail Island. This beach cottage is surprisingly roomy and secluded by the vegetation surrounding it.

The access to the beach is directly outside the front door of Island Hideaway. You won't miss the fact that there is no direct beach access from the back, especially when you see the amazing views Island Hideaway has to offer.

Ground Level : There is space for 2 to 3 cars to park in front. Parking space is limited at Island Hideaway. Let Century 21 know if you need to store a larger vehicle or boat.

Island Hideaway is filled with rustic beach charm, but don't be fooled, this is no rustic beach house. The home is all one level, with very few steps leading in and out.

The living space has comfortable seating surrounding the chestnut colored leather sleeper sofa. Hanging on the wall you will find a flat screen TV with a VCR and DVD player. There is also a telescope for stargazing on warm summer nights. The living room leads to the outdoor spaces.

Outside you will find a screened in porch filled with rocking chairs and a picnic table. You'll want to eat every meal out here, from sun up to sun down. The screened in porch leads to the oceanfront deck. Grab a chair and relax under the warm Carolina sun while watching the families play in the surf. There is also a boardwalk that encompasses the whole house. To the right you will find an enclosed hot and cold shower and the path to the right will take you to the beach access.

Back inside, Island Hideaway has an open kitchen area. The space has a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. There are four stools that sit at the bar area, which looks into the kitchen. The pullout dining table will seat 4, but who wants to eat inside, when you can eat under the stars?

The master bedroom is located on the oceanfront left hand side of the house. This room has a king size bed covered in a soft green silky comforter with cream accent pillows, a wall mounted flat screen TV and a ceiling fan. A bathroom is easily accessible through the small hallway.

The second and third bedrooms are located on the right hand side of the house. In between the rooms is a Hawaiian themed bathroom.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed, with a soft green comforter and blue accent pillows. This room has a TV, VCR and windows that look out onto the ocean and green vegetation that makes this an Island Hideaway.

The third bedroom offers more than just a double sized bed. This room has a small office space that has TV, DVD player, computer, printer, telephone and bookshelves filled with paperbacks. If you didn't finish the book you were reading, don't worry about it. Take it with you; just remember to replace it with a different book.
