North Topsail is a little piece of paradise. Come explore our clean, white sand beaches. Kayak the sound or Intra-coastal and look for great blue herons, osprey, dolphins and other wildlife. Drive onto the beach at the north end for great surfcasting or try the popular fishing pier minutes away. A nearby boat ramp provides access to the Intra-coastal for a boating adventure you will always remember.

Dine at one of North Topsail's fine dining restaurants or cook in for a quiet dinner at home. Take a drive south to Surf City for shopping, casual and fine dining, nightlife, and of course, surfing! Head north to Sneads Ferry for personal watercraft and boat rentals, locally caught seafood, world-class golf, and more. Topsail Island is full of treasures to be discovered.

Pura Vida is a second row duplex located just a short walk from the beach access. This cozy yet accommodating home is filled with light. Boasting 4 separate decks, two from the main living area and one off each upstairs bedroom, this tastefully decorated beach house is a wonderful retreat. There is parking for 2 in the front and the grass wraps around the house to the back yard where mature live oak trees offer privacy, shade, and a fun filled afternoon on a tire swing. Pura Vida has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps 5.

Main Level:The front entrance has an ocean view deck and leads you into the kitchen. Beautiful ceramic tile flooring in a soft charcoal shade is installed throughout this entire level. The eat-in kitchen offers a white tile top table with seating for 4. White cabinets with silver starfish hardware are topped with tile counters. Store your extra groceries in the pantry closet with shelves from floor to ceiling. Soft blue walls and bright white trim are a cool escape from the summer heat. Appliances include a smooth top stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker and a teapot. Brew a fresh pot of coffee in the morning and take an early stroll on the beach while the world is still sleeping and the sea whispers your name.

Just off the kitchen, a full bath is on the left side of the hall. Subtle lavender walls and a white pedestal sink over the tile floor are crisp and clean. A shower with tub is available.

Across the hall, a small room offers a quiet alcove with a bookshelf and computer desk. Wireless Internet is available, so turn on your laptop, check your email and stay in touch.Above the desk, a suspended bunk bed is available for the unexpected beach guest.

The stackable washer and dryer are neatly stowed away in a closet off the living room.

The living room, in cool shades of blue and beige, offers a sofa and stuffed recliner for some relaxing conversation or watching the television with DVD and VHS players. Make a selection from the VHS movie library or challenge your family to a puzzle and spread out the pieces on the long coffee table. Turn on the portable stereo, blend up some cool iced drinks, and head out to the back deck for a spell. Take a nap on the hammock or chill out in an Adirondack chair and enjoy the breeze as it rustles the leaves of the tall trees.

Upper Level:The open staircase takes you to the second floor where you'll find two bedrooms and one full bath. The full bath, with white tile floor and countertops, has a shower with tub and a unique long octagon window for natural light. Across the hall, a linen closet is available.

Bedroom 1:Soothing shades of beige and pale green are relaxing for the senses. The queen size bed, with deep and pale green plaid comforter, sits opposite a long low dresser with a white washed finish. The matching headboard, side table and tall dresser have bamboo and basket weave accents for a sophisticated beach style. A sliding door leads to your private deck off the back of the house where you can escape at the end of the day for a little peace and quiet.

Bedroom 2:This sunny room has pale yellow walls and white wicker furniture. Two dressers are available for storing your vacation wardrobe. The queen size bed is covered with a navy, khaki, and green comforter and matching skirt. Step out to the private ocean deck and look across the street at the expanse of dunes and crystal blue ocean before you. This bedroom also has a private door to the shared bath on this floor.

Pura Vida, literally translated means "Pure Life" but contextually can be expressed as "This is Living!" and indeed it is, here at Pura Vida. Wake to the sounds of the sea, spend your days soaking up the sun and swimming in the surf, and fall asleep dreaming of the fun that has yet to come. Pura Vida is your little piece of paradise.

Your check-in location is our Sneads Ferry office. Linens are provided. Pets are gladly permitted with payment of pet-fee. Smoking is not permitted. Maximum occupancy is 5 at any time. Your check-in time is 3:30 pm unless you have confirmed and paid the early bird check-in option. Please be sure we have received complete payment within 30 days of your arrival to avoid cancellation.
