You'll enjoy unmatched views of the sand and sea from spacious connecting decks on the second and third levels, from each of the four bedrooms, and from the living/dining/kitchen area on the top level. Laze away the day in a hammock, dine at the picnic table on local seafood prepared on the gas grill, play in the ocean with furnished skimboards, or simply luxuriate in Boardroom's elegant and welcoming interior. If you're in the mood for shopping, gallery browsing, dining out, or maybe a stroll down the pier, you'll find all those opportunities less than a mile away. Living/Dining area: This L-shaped area was designed for entertaining and relaxing and is large enough to accommodate a crowd who wants to do a little of both. Sink into one of a pair of cream triple leather sofas and snuggle up with any of the handful of natural fiber throw pillows. Then you can choose to either enjoy the ocean view through sliding doors onto the huge deck or avail yourself of the entertainment center, with its TV/DVD/VCR and stocks of videos, games, and books.You can seat eight in roomy comfort at the glass and gray wrought iron dining table, with deep cream-cushioned matching chairs. Kitchen: Vivid rose countertops provide plenty of room for meal and beverage preparation and serving. More than one cook can enjoy this spacious kitchen, which is outfitted not only with a blender, built-in microwave, deluxe wide four-slice toaster, electric can opener, coffee maker, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with in-door ice and water, but also an under-cabinet CD player with AM/FM radio. Bedroom 1 (Master, Top level):You'll love waking up to the sound and sight of Topsail Island surf from this luxurious king-sized oak bed, with a tasteful gold bamboo and palm tree spread and bountiful pillows. Three Oriental countryside prints and ivory sand cast lamps on the twin night tables provide perfect coordinating accents. Store clothing in the triple dresser with triple mirror. A TV/VCR is provided. Décor in the adjoining bath, which also opens on to the hall, repeats the bamboo and palm tree theme in the tub/shower combo curtain print and palm tree curtain hooks. A special feature of this bathtub is a sloped back for reclining in a luxurious bubble bath. There is an extra-wide vanity and mirror, and a coordinating green mat adds a perfect touch of color for the ceramic tile flooring. Before a beautiful Palladian window at the rear of this level, you'll find a glass-topped, iron-framed table with two cushioned chairs, positioned perfectly for enjoying the stunning Topsail Island sunsets. Bedroom 2 (lower level): This oceanfront bedroom on Boardroom's left side offers a view evocative of endless leisurely days, with sliding glass doors opening onto a deck area where a hammock swings invitingly. The handsome cherry queen-sized bed with tall headposts is dressed in a rust, maroon, turquoise, and teal block pattern spread; these colors are repeated in a trio of Oriental prints over the bed and a pair of prints beside the window. The matching triple dresser boasts an extra-wide mirror, and twin bedside tables with storage drawers hold matching gold leaf lamps and a telephone. There is a TV/VCR, a black leather swivel recliner, and a twin-lamped torchiere. Just down the hall is a walk-in closet large enough to double as a dressing area, with a cherry chest-on-chest, overhead lighting, and a wall mirror. Immediately beyond this closet is a bath that features a toilet with a privacy door, a shower adorned with a clear and white scallop curtain over a green liner, and a wide vanity with mirror. Bedroom 3 (lower level): This oceanfront bedroom is expansive, occupying the entire right side of the house. A breathtakingly beautiful king-sized four-poster canopy bed is draped with palest cream gauze for a romantic touch. A large antique telephone accents the oak double dresser with mirror. A dressing table features a swivel mirror, an eggshell-hued lamp, and comfy stool with eggshell cushion. The palm motif is repeated in the floor mat by the sliding glass doors that open on to the front deck. A television is tucked into an oak entertainment center with two lower drawers for storage. At the rear of the bedroom is a glass-topped desk bearing a telephone with a built-in radio; a black leather chair provides seating. Bedroom 4 (lower level): This cozy bedroom, situated in the middle of the house, also offers an oceanfront view. Pine bunk beds, with the lower bunk wider than the upper, have teal spreads with a bold seashell pattern. Stow clothing in the matching pine chest. A TV/VCR and large display clock with AM/FM radio are provided. The bath shared by the third and fourth bedrooms includes a tub/shower combo decorated with a bright fish print curtain in lavender, aqua, magenta, and gold; a coordinating dusky purple rug on the ceramic tile floor; and a doubled-doored medicine chest with shelf. On Boardroom's ground level, you'll find a half bath situated between two enclosed garage areas, where umbrellas, skimboards, beach chairs are stored. On the beach side of the garage there is a landscaped deck area with grill, picnic table, outdoor hot and cold shower, and an access stairway to the mid-level deck.
