Summerwinds is located in the middle of the island, you are just a short drive to either Surf City or Sneads Ferry. Check out the restaurants, gift shops and nightlife that both towns offer.

Enjoy salty sea breezes and spectacular ocean views from the two-oceanfront decks. The beaches are clean and relaxing, as the pelicans patrol overhead, and the dolphins are just a short distance off shore. When coming off the beach, there's no waiting with two outside showers provided.

Ground Level: Parking for 4 vehicles. Beneath the house you will find a charcoal grill and steps that lead to the bright red front door.

First Level: Carry your bags inside and head to the first level of Summerwinds where you will find three oceanfront bedrooms, a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer and two bathrooms. The downstairs is filled with sunny yellow walls and refreshing tile floors.

The master bedroom offers guests a king size bed covered in a red floral comforter and matching red curtains. In the corner you'll find a large armoire, with a TV with a VCR. A soft yellow sofa is the perfect place to grab a book and relax. Wake up early, slip through the sliding glass door and head down to the beach in search of seashells and sharks teeth. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower.

The second bedroom is great for younger vacationers. This room offers two twin bunks beds, perfect for sleeping four. This bedroom also has access to the oceanfront deck through a sliding glass door.

The third bedroom, on the first level, offers guests a tropical getaway with two double beds covered in soothing green Hawaiian prints. A sliding glass door leads you outside to the oceanfront deck for easy access to the sandy beach.

The lower deck, accessible to all three of the lower bedrooms offers direct beach access, an enclosed hot and cold shower and an outdoor shower on the walkway to the beach. Enjoy sipping cook drinks while you lounge in the shade during the hot Island summers.

Second Level: Upstairs you will find an open living space surrounded by walls of windows with beautiful ocean views. The living room is furnished with two sand colored leather chairs, a TV with VCR and DVD player, portable stereo and a ceiling fan. An entertainment center holds a library of books and movies for the whole family to enjoy.

The dining area, surrounded by ocean view windows, holds a large solid wood table surrounded by coordinating chairs. With enough seating for 8, gather everyone around the table for freshly grilled seafood dinners.

The open kitchen has casual wood cabinets and sand colored tile floor. This room includes a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, toaster and more. Four stools sit at the bar, a great place for morning coffee or a quick snack, before heading back out to the beach.

A fourth bedroom sits on the sound side of Summerwinds, beside the living room. This bedroom offers an antique brass queen size bed covered in a tropical yellow and green comforter. This room has access to a bathroom, shared with the living room.
