Living area: From the ground level entrance, you'll ascend stairs and enter through a single French door into Pinnacle's wide and welcoming living/dining/kitchen. A drape of fish net across the front wall holds treasures from the sea: cone, whelk, and scallop shells; a seahorse and starfish; sand dollars; and even a couple of seagull feathers. Twin red sofas with a light turquoise palm tree motif create a cozy conversation area. Pillows scattered about the sofas match the red palm-printed bamboo rocker and the red loveseat with gold and green stripes that's situated beneath generous double windows on the left wall. Rattan and artful metal with a leaf motif set off both the glass-topped coffee table and end tables. There's a wide screen TV with DVD/VCR for your entertainment, and you'll find a stock of videos, books, and games on a handy bookshelf just behind the sofas. A serious music system with three-foot JVC speakers, equalizer, AM-FM receiver, 5-CD changer, and double cassette player will delight music lovers.

Dining area: The rectangular dining room table and its six chairs repeat the rattan and metal leaf design in the coffee and end tables.

Kitchen: More seating is available in four forest green tone-on-tone backed bar chairs at the expansive bar, where an extra sink makes beverage service convenient and easy. A square oak center pole at the end of the bar adds a nice architectural touch, and recessed can lighting provides ample lighting for your kitchen doings. The side-by-side refrigerator/freezer offers in-door water and ice, and there's a built-in microwave above the modern flat-top range. Copious cabinets accented with green knobs offer plenty of provision storage. Stained glass art in the window over the double sink colors incoming sunlight nicely. Tucked just off the kitchen you'll find both the washer/dryer area and a handy half-bath with an extra wide sea-mist vanity and charming leaf motif lighting accent above the mirror.

Bedroom 1 (first level): Pocket doors open from the rear of the living area to this spacious and gracious bedroom, outfitted with a king-sized bed with a charming quilted coverlet and matching shams of delicate flowers and twining vines in crimson, purple, and fuchsia with a light green binding; an eyelet bedskirt peeks out beneath. There's a tall pine dresser with mirror, pine entertainment center with DVD/TV inside, and a six-blade white fan with five tulip globes. Leave the pocket doors ajar and awaken to the extraordinary ocean view through the sliders at the front of the living room.

The centerpiece of the adjoining bath is a roomy two-person Jacuzzi with eight jets, a ceramic tile seating ledge, and white ceramic tile walls adorned with a green border and decorative scallop and turban shell tiles in blue and green. Translucent glass blocks allow in the sunlight.

Bedroom 2 (top level): Two double-sized beds here are covered in tan and olive palm tree patterned quilts, with olive bed skirts beneath. The front wall of this bedroom features a rectangular picture window that affords an ocean view through the large second-story window. There is a triple dresser with mirror, a three-drawer chest, console TV, and twin night tables with lamps. The adjoining bath features a tub/shower combo.

Bedroom 3 (top level): The queen-sized bed in this oceanfront room is dressed in a variegated blue patterned spread with blue striped shams. A two-drawer night table holds a delightful iron work lamp of caged sea shells, and the mirrored closet door adds to the spacious feel. Ecru duck tab curtains adorn the sliding glass doors that open onto the private and roomy deck. There is a pickled pine triple dresser with a louvre-motif mirror, a six-drawer chest, and TV.

Bedroom 4 (top level): A bright multi-colored print spread in lavender, blue, turquoise, gold, and tangerine with turtles and palms covers the queen-sized bed here. There's a triple pine dresser with mirror and chest of drawers for storage, a TV/VCR, and a ceiling fan with a glass-paned light. The single side window offers an ocean view, and there is also a double window at the rear.

Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a large connecting bath with both a standard vanity nearest Bedroom 3 and a pedestal sink just by the door to Bedroom 4. Both sinks have a mirrored medicine chest with an etched glass panel. Sailboats and ship's wheels in ecru, brown, and light turquoise adorn the curtain over the tub/shower combo.

Other amenities: Pinnacle's ground level features an elegant entry door with sidelights and a fan window above, accessible from covered parking areas on either side. There's a gas grill for preparing delicious Topsail Island local seafood, as well as a stock of skim boards, floats, and beach chairs, plus a hammock, for long and lazy beach days. An enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a seating/dressing area adjoins steps that lead to the first-level deck. Also for your convenience, high-speed internet, a fax machine and copier are available for use.
